The sixth and final round of the 2025 FIM Supermoto World Championship marked the conclusion of the season for Nicot Vertemati Factory Racing, with the team competing on the fast and technical Belgian circuit of Mettet in a weekend of high-level competition.

The challenging Walloon track, well-known and appreciated by riders for its balanced mix of asphalt and off-road sections, provided the stage for the season finale of a long and, at times, demanding championship. Despite some misfortune along the way, the team continued to work consistently on technical development and bike performance improvement throughout the year.

Michael Vertemati faced a demanding weekend with his usual grit and determination. Free practice sessions delivered promising lap times close to the top 10, but qualifying proved more difficult, with Mik setting a best lap of 1:38.528, placing him 17th on the grid. In the races, the weekend remained challenging from the start: he finished 24th in Race 1, 25th in the Fast Race, and again 24th in the Superfinal, completing a tough event with determination and strong team spirit.

Although the results did not fully reflect the team's effort and potential, the Mettet weekend reaffirmed the solidity of the technical work and the commitment to continued growth ahead of the next season.

I knew it would be a difficult weekend. I'm still struggling to adapt to the front tyre used in the World Championship, and on top of that, I was dealing with shoulder pain that limited me quite a bit. Now we'll have the whole winter to fine-tune every detail and prepare as best as possible for next year.
